Are you interested in joining Parliament Hill Bowls Club? Whether you're a seasoned pro or a complete novice, we extend a warm, friendly welcome to everyone.
Why Join Us?
At Parliament Hill Bowls Club, we pride ourselves on being a welcoming and friendly group of people. Bowls is suitable for all ages and whether you want to play competitively or just for fun, our club is open to all. As well as being a gentle exercise, there's also the social element of meeting people, being part of a team or just sitting and having a chat.
Membership Benefits:

Season: Our season runs from late April to late September. The green is open every afternoon with a popular evening 'social' session on Wednesday. We usually break for afternoon tea (50p) and biscuits.

Equipment: Don't have your own bowls yet? No problem! We can lend you bowls until you get your own.

New bowlers: Receive coaching from experienced members and can learn at their own pace.

Matches: Enjoy internal matches such as 100 up, mixed, men's singles, women’s singles, as well as external matches played at home and away (we ask for a £2 contribution for afternoon tea for home matches).

Practice: As a member, you can practice on the green whenever you like after 2.00 pm during the season.

Social: Members can pop in any time we're playing, have a drink, and watch the match.

Perks: Bring a friend, once, for free and as often as you like for the usual guest fee.

Communicate: Join our social WhatsApp group, find out who's playing or arrange a game

Events: Don't miss our end-of-season Presidents vs. Captains final day, with a free buffet provided.

Celebrate: End of season Fish & Chip supper provided by the club
The club is run by all its members, you can meet our officers and committee here.

We look forward to seeing you as soon as possible. Simply come along wearing flat-soled shoes for the green and we'll provide the rest!

Simply email Brian Presley on bspresley@hotmail.com and we'll get in touch. You can try out the sport a few times before deciding to join. The first visit is free, and you can bowl twice more for a £6.00 green fee each time.
